​Calling all school-aged adventurers! Join us for an exciting new event designed to inspire camaraderie,  fitness, and fun on our scenic coastal/farmland trails. The Schools Challenge at the Ruralco Longbeach Coastal Challenge is for students Years 5-8  to get active and take on the challenge of our rugged trails... all while vearing for the prize of our 'Longbeach Tile' trophy!

Details 
  • Year 5-8 students only (can be mixed year group team e.g. consisting of x2 Year 5s and x2 Year 8s) 
  • 12km course
  • Maxmimum of 5 students per team
  • To be entered under ONE school name e.g. Longbeach School 
  • Can be a composite team, but must be entered under one school name e.g. a Longbeach School and Hinds School  composite team
  • Time will be recorded digitally through Training Splitz 
  • Offical time will be taken by the first three in the team to cross the line 

PRIZES 
1st Place:  Winner of the School Challenge trophy, a certificate and bragging rights! 
2nd Place:  2nd place certificate & a silver medal for each team member 
3rd Place: ​ 3rd place certificate & a bronze medal for each team member 

You will receive either a FREE burger or sausage in bread (meat, courtesy of ANZCO) when you cross that finish line! DOGS are NOT to be brought onto the property.

Race Day: Sunday 30th November 2025
Entry Fee: $20 per person  (maximum of 5 team members)

23KM TEAM EVENT: LONGBEACH DAIRIES

Gear up for the ultimate challenge along the rugged coastline and farm terrain of Longbeach ! Gather some mates or work colleagues for the thrilling 23km mountain bike ride team event, where teams of four riders will compete for glory... and the prestigious Longbeach Gate Trophy!

​Test your skills and endurance as you navigate through diverse landscapes, from challenging coastal paths to picturesque farm tracks. The competition heats up as the top three times from each team are recorded, pushing each rider to give their best performance. Whether you're a seasoned rider or new to the thrill of mountain biking, this event promises excitement, camaraderie, and breathtaking views.
