A great option for the whole family to enjoy the ride and a fun day out! This OFF-ROAD course is recommended for children 8 yrs and over - strictly for competitors aged 6 year olds and over - all participants MUST be able to bike 12km proficiently. It is an off-road course with hills and an area of gravel/beach stones. There will be lots of other competitors passing you on the course so please ensure that your child can safely ride this distance off-road and ride up/down hills before you register them. Absolutely no training wheels or running bikes! You will receive a FREE steak sandwich or a sausage in bread when you cross that finish line! |

A track designed for stamina and speed along farm tracks, gravel road and up and down a series of steep gullies along the coastline which will provide some challenging cycling. The total ascent (ie. vertical metres gained) over the course is 553 metres. TEAM EVENTS
In our 2024 season, our team events have had a slight revamp! In the 23km Team Event, teams of four riders tackle Longbeach's rugged coastline and farm terrain, competing for the esteemed 'Longbeach Gate' Trophy. The top three times from each team determine the victors in a test of skill, strategy, and endurance.
Our School Challenge is a platform for young cyclists to showcase their talent and sportsmanship. It's an opportunity for schools to come together in friendly competition and inspire a new generation of riders.
